Tips for proper lamination with a hot laminator
To laminate paper and other documents, you need a laminator and laminating film. Laminating films are available in different sizes and thicknesses, so it is important to make sure the laminating film is compatible with the device.
Warm up the device
For hot lamination, the device is first warmed up. For best results, it is recommended that you do not begin lamination until the unit is fully preheated. In addition, you do not have to wait long, because the heated silicone rollers have a short heat-up time, so you can start almost directly.
It is important to choose the right temperature for the film. Too cold lamination will cause the film to not adhere properly. On the other hand, laminating too hot can even damage your documents. If you need to laminate cold, you can simply use the laminators Dahle 70104 and Dahle 70103, because the devices have both functions integrated.
