Mourning Harald Müller

Harald Müller, Managing Director of emco Group and owner of Novus Dahle GmbH & Co. KG, has died after a long illness just before Christmas at the age of 74 years. The staff mourns a visionary and decision-makers who successfully with entrepreneurial skill and courage developed the complex family.

Harald Müller joined in May 1968 in the company of his father and took over without further ado the management. His pioneering spirit shaped his entrepreneurial activities in the complex operations and he has driven the expansion even in old age with a wealth of ideas and the courage to break new ground with success. The brands Novus and Dahle have laid the foundation for the success of the family business and are still the benchmark in the field of office equipment and furnishing and fastening technology. A milestone of his entrepreneurial achievements was the establishment of international production sites - in 1994 first in the Czech Republic and China, and later in France and Turkey - and an international sales network. Also the production location Lingen has continuously developed, which today has three plants and a modern research and development center Müller.

Harald Müller was an entrepreneur who has always had the long-term success of the company and the welfare of employees in mind. With its social commitment to employees and their families, he has given to the term "family" of particular importance. Extensive social benefits, but also unbureaucratic helpfulness in emergencies bear his signature.

"The loss hits us very - both from a human and personal point of view as from a business perspective," explains Christian Gnass, also Managing Partner, on behalf of the entire management. "We bow to Harald Müller as a person and entrepreneurs and are thankful to have him accompanied a piece on his life. Our deepest sympathies go to his wife and children. We have Mr Smith family closely linked in a common grief. We are Harald Müller honor their memory forever."
